Childeyes

When is the last time you sat on the ground and explored through the grass with just your fingers? Finding bugs and bottle caps and on a really lucky day a penny or at least something shiny and metal. When is the last time you lay on your back in your living room and pretended the ceiling was the floor? Sure would be easier to reach the cool pops in the freezer. When is the last time you ate alphabet soup one letter at a time? If you spelled your name first you won the grand prize....coke in your milk!! Do you ever listen to the birds in the morning and the birds at night and wonder why their sounds are different? Do they know the day is beginning or ending or are there just different birds?! When was the last time you smiled at a stranger to see if you could make them smile back? They always will you know. Funny how that works. When is the last time you woke up and popped out of bed landing on both feet? Bet it was a Saturday morning. When is the last time you hugged your mom or dad because, well, you're supposed to hug your mom and dad? Is it too late? Don't worry...they forgive you...because, well, that's what angels do. Any child knows that.

You're a sweetheart for saying that, and you've been a wonderful friend through a very trying time.
